Autistic community is made up of Autistics who come together to interact with other Autistics.
Autistic community refers to the global community of people who recognize themselves and one another as Autistic. This generally does not include allies, though a person can be an ally to the Autistic community and participate in some events or activities.
Members of the Autistic community have chosen to cultivate community around a shared sense of Autistic identity and experience. Efforts at building Autistic culture is also common, including efforts to celebrate Autistic pride. The Autistic community is similar to the Blind or Deaf communities.
